Weekly Inspiration (4/18/24)

In our walk with Jesus, things get real. The cross is the place where our hopes and dreams meet reality and always survive. The cross is the place where we consider that maybe God’s plan for us is better than our own. The cross is where we let go of bitterness and grab hold of gratitude.

Prayer of St. Richard of Chichester

Thanks be to thee,
my Lord Jesus Christ,
For all the benefits
thou hast won for me,
For all the pains and insults
thou hast borne for me.
O most merciful Redeemer,
Friend, and Brother,
May I know thee more clearly,
Love thee more dearly,
And follow thee more nearly:
For ever and ever.
